AmperDesign is a creative research studio by me, Thom Bindels.
I graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2017, in the department Man & Leisure.

My first working experience was as an artist assistant for Lode Bruins in an R&D lab, researching new material properties, bio based shelters and circular concepts.

My graduation project ‘Desert Pioneer’ has grown into the Ecokick Foundation with a working field between Sub-Sahara Africa and the Netherlands.

As a starting point I focus on the human relationship to the earth and our natural surrounding. Through a proces of learning by doing and free experimentation in the field I find possibilities for future landscapes or changing perspectives.

My ambition is to make connections between previously disconnected fields and create diversity in both societal and natural monocultures.
